Southport FC Community Teams – Championing Grassroots Football

At the heart of Southport FC Community Foundation is a thriving grassroots football programme, proudly supporting over 25 teams made up of boys and girls of all ages and abilities. From first kicks to competitive matches, we’re committed to providing young players with a safe, supportive, and inspiring place to learn, grow, and fall in love with the game.

Grassroots football is more than just matches on the weekend — it’s about building confidence, friendships, life skills, and a lifelong passion for sport. It’s where dreams begin, and where young players learn the true meaning of teamwork, respect, and resilience.

None of this would be possible without our incredible team of dedicated volunteer coaches who give their time, energy, and care to make sure every child has the best experience possible. Their commitment — often behind the scenes and outside of work hours — helps create lasting memories and strong community ties. We are immensely grateful and proud of the work they do week in, week out.
